Submit your music for play on The Grind on PunkRadioCast.com

Looking to get your music on a Volume of The GrindPRC? Well then you've landed on the right page!

Bands/Solo Artists/Labels:

Drop us a line at ftmb@thegrindprc.ca to submit your music for inclusion on an upcoming "From The MailBox" feature!

If it catches our ear & fits our demographic, we'll find a good upcoming Volume to include your music and introuduce your band to the millions who tune in to The Grind on PunkRadiocast on Fridays or listen to the show on thier own terms by streaming or downloading off iTunes, our RSS feeds and here on the site.

Things To Include:

-Your Music!

We on average spin 3 songs per "From The MailBox" segment. If your band blisters through songs at a bone crushing, heart racing pace.. hook us up with more than 3! If your stuff is more of the building, epic long cut variety... you can still send 3 songs but we might not play them all, as well as your cover of The Decline.. but you don't know until you try right?

If you're sending an album download link, make sure to include the password if required.

- Your Info!

Besides spinning your tunes for the masses, we'd like to promo you guys as well. Why are you a band? What influences you? Where can fans connect with you? If you've got some upcoming gigs, album releases, video releases, etc. Let us know so we can spread the word. If you've got an EPK, now's the time to use it

Can I send you physical copies of our wicked new 7"/LP/EP/CD/Cassette/Phonographic cylinder?

Why yes! Yes you can. To continue our illusion of privacy in this day and age, I'm not going to post our address here, but shoot us off an email to ftmb@thegrindprc.ca and we'll let you know. Plus that way we will know to be expecting something and can camp out by the mailbox to bug the mailman by asking "is it here yet?" every morning!

Can you interview us?

Most likely yes.

If you've just recently listened to the album Dookie for the first time, and have now teamed up with some friends who had access to musical insturments, you're not going to end up having an interview on a future volume of The Grind. Unless we're feeling especially evil that day and feel like calling you out as a bunch of hacks who have no real love for music besides "being that guy in a band" and all the groupies and millions of dollars that come flooding your way as soon as you've reached 100,000 fans/friends on myspace/facebook or mastered that really tough song on Guitar/Band Hero.

You chuckle, but we've had to say no to this in the past. Yeah we're punk rock, but we've got standards... We've also all got jobs, so no guarantees that we can come to your show to do an interview. But get in touch and we'll do our best to catch up with your band, be it a show in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Calgary, Ottawa (or close municapalities) or over the phone/skype.

We've also got a few Grind-Ninjas that we use from time to time to get interviews from other countries, and we've been known to hit the road ourselves.

In the end, if you're a good band who plays good music, we will most likely want to work with you.
